Ronan boys use big fourth quarter to beat Bigfork

RONAN — Lawrence Lozeau scored 18 points and Tayen Edmo added 12 as Ronan outscored Bigfork 23-15 in the fourth quarter to take a 67-52 win in boys basketball Tuesday. 

Austin Savik led the way with 22 points for the Vikings (3-8 overall, 1-4 in Northwest A games), who led 37-34 heading into the final frame. Alex Ochs had 12. 

Hunter Qualtier picked up 11 for the Chiefs (8-3, 4-1), Kolby Finley tallied 10.

WHITEFISH — Carson Gulick and Will Sisson scored 18 points apiece as Whitefish defeated Libby 84-54 in boys basketball. 

Sisson and Gulick knocked down four 3-pointers each as the Bulldogs (4-5, 1-3) made 16 shots from behind the arc. Aiden Rickels added three to finish with nine points. 

Tristan Andersen, Bransen Holzer and James Woody led the Loggers (3-8, 0-5) with 14 points each.

HOT SPRINGS — Jon Dannic scored 22 points and Patrick Bonner added 15 as Flathead Valley defeated Hot Springs 79-50 in boys basketball. 

Kai Lott tallied 13 for the Crusaders, who led 43-25 at the half. 

Weston Slonacker led Hot Springs (2-6) with 16 points, Nick McAllister added 13. Chase Defoe had 10.
