T-Falls boys into Western B title game against Loyola

HAMILTON — Thompson Falls downed Florence to advance to the Western B divisional championship game Saturday against Missoula Loyola, who defeated Arlee in the second semifinal.


The Blue Hawks outscored the Falcons 15-6 in the final quarter to seal their spot in the final. Loyola jumped on Arlee early and cruised to a 75-35 victory. 


In the other games Friday, Anaconda knocked Eureka out with a 40-31 decision, while Troy stayed alive with a 61-50 win over Mission. 


Thompson Falls 53, Florence 41 


Owen Doyle scored 18 points and Bryson LeCoure tallied 15 as Thompson Falls downed Florence in the first semifinal. 


The Blue Hawks meet Missoula Loyola in the championship at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. 


Brody Duchien led the Flacons with 14 points.

Kempton Sloan scored 19 points and Nola Morris added 16 as Troy used a big third quarter to defeat Mission 61-50. 


Emerson Downey tallied 14 and Carson Orr pitched in 10 for the Trojans, who advance to take on Florence Saturday at 10:45 a.m. 


Lex LaFrombois led all scorers in the game with 23 points for Mission.
