The Making of Our Planet live show set for April 6
Step into the breathtaking world of Netflix's “Our Planet” in a special big-screen talk, featuring highlights from the acclaimed documentary series, with expert insights and behind-the-scenes footage from natural history executive producer Huw Cordey.
From the Emmy Award-winning team behind the “Our Planet” series, is a new natural history speaker series: The Making of Our Planet — Frozen Worlds. The Making of Our Planet is a new and immersive live show featuring behind-the-scenes stories from the explorers, filmmakers, scientists and adventurers that created some of the most eye-catching footage of our planet.
With a focus on climate fragility and climate migration, The Making of Our Planet tells an unprecedented story about overcoming obstacles on a global scale and explores the messages at the heart of these action-packed and emotional sequences.
At The Making of Our Planet, Cordey will go behind the scenes of “Frozen Worlds,” sharing the challenges of filming in some of the harshest environments on Earth. From the dramatic calving of a gigantic iceberg to the threats posed by fossil fuel exploration in the Arctic, he’ll explore how climate change is impacting the creatures that call these icy landscapes home, followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. April 6 at the Wachholz College Center, 795 Grandview Dr., Kalispell.
