BOISE, Idaho — Matt Logie was ejected after picking up two technical fouls as Montana State fell to top seeded Northern Colorado 72-45 in the men’s Big Sky Conference Tournament Semifinals Tuesday.

The Bobcats fell behind early as the Bears scored the first 15 points of the game. Montana finally broke the run more than eight minutes in as Goracke hit a 3-pointer.

A 7-0 run brought Montana State within seven at 18-11, but Northern Colorado responded with seven straight points of their own and took a 29-17 advantage into the half.

A pair of triples from Zephir and Agbonkpolo brought the Bobcats deficit back to 36-25 in the second half.

After Logie’s ejection the Bears continued to grow their advantage out to 26 at 57-31 as Rillie hit a turnaround jumper in the paint.
