Dannie Lynn Plummer, 75

| March 16, 2025 12:00 AM

Dannie Lynn Cheak Plummer, 75, of Kalispell, fell asleep peacefully and woke up in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 9, 2025. We are nearly sure she woke up singing.

Born Sept. 25, 1949, in San Pedro, California to Danny and Sammy Cheak, she lived a full life as a preacher’s daughter, a big sister, a wife, a mother, a Gramma Dandy, a singer-songwriter, a teacher, a poet, an artist, a painter, a dreamer, a lover of words and tunes and laughter and mostly a steadfast believer in God and follower of Jesus, the solid Rock of her salvation. She was not perfect, but she was ours. We were not perfect, but we were hers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Gentry Cheak and Sammie Faye Cheak; her daughter, Amanda Ellen Christianson; and her granddaughter, Hannah Joan Wright.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Plummer; son, Beau Plummer and wife, April; and daughter, Michelle Plummer and husband, Brian; along with 12 grandchildren and a first great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Cheak and wife, Gail; along with two nephews, two nieces, and nine grandnephews and grandnieces.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 21, at Easthaven Baptist Church, 2010 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell, with a light reception following. Come join us as we say to her one last time, "See you at the house!"
