DOGE meat ax
Rep. Ryan Zinke’s partisan rationale for the Trump-DOGE meat ax approach to firing federal personnel doesn’t pass the smell test.
Congress again passed an open-ended Continuing Resolution in lieu of a real budget. It then beat it out of D.C. to spread its members’ primary spin on how best to get re-elected.
Fair to say, dead-horsing past administrations has run its course. It’s time for at least the Montana delegation to base its votes on facts, not adulation; law, not whimsy; and defensible change, not news cycle headlines.
