Law roundup: Woman stranded for her own good
A woman alleged her boyfriend took her car keys, leaving her stranded at a location. An officer reminded her about the status of her license, and she said she would find another way to get to work.
A man alleged that his girlfriend had been drinking, throwing a fit and breaking things around the house all day. She then took the yelling outside to the alley while he and the kids waited inside. She was allegedly uncooperative with police and the jail was notified of the incident.
Officers received a later call from a man alleging his angry ex was swilling alcohol, slamming doors, calling him names and spitting in the house. Officers strongly advised him to go through the eviction process as she had reportedly been through this situation before and seemed “content with squatting”
A very intoxicated woman allegedly screamed and yelled in a business’ bathroom and was spotted hitting her head on her steering wheel. She was uncooperative with officers.
A woman was startled by a blond man in his 30s who allegedly walked up to her vehicle, pounded on the window and yelled before heading into a store. She said he was wearing a gray jacket with reflective stripes and work boots.
Someone allegedly broke into a pickup and stole tools, a computer module, check books and other financial documents.
