Marilyn Grace McGeshick, 70

Marilyn Grace McGeshick, age 70, of Columbia Falls, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family by her side on March 20, 2025. She was born June 23, 1954, in Wolf Point, to the late Fred McGeshick and Joyce McGeshick (Beauchman).

Marilyn was a spunky, loving, feisty soul who was full of energy. She enjoyed the simple things in life like spending time with family, going for a car ride, doing something for others, camping, cooking and baking. Marilyn maintained an active lifestyle and loved to travel. She traveled to all the rodeos and PBRs. Marilyn was a Green Bay Packers fanatic. Professionally, she worked for the forest service, fought fires, camp lead, special education teacher and dietician at the Montana Veterans Home. She will always be remembered for her Indian Tacos and eggrolls.

Marilyn is survived by children: Beatrice R. Beard (Dennis), Roberta Welch and Robert Welch; 11 grandchildren: Herschel, Jace, Jaden, Treighton, Zaya, Bradley, Jacob, Rob, Cody, Alex and Gracie; 13 great-grandchildren: Khularb, Zack, Leon, Grayson, Aurora, Noah, Braxton, Brenley, Carter, Olivia, Harper, Macie and Miles and siblings: Florence, Fred, Susan, James, Lucy, and Joe. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Edwin "Chubs"; sister, Patty and brother, Ricky.

A viewing for Marilyn will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, at Columbia Mortuary, 1010 Fourth Ave. W., Columbia Falls, MT 59912. A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Active Word Ministries, 172 Pine Street, Columbia Falls, MT 59912. Family and friends may begin to visit on Tuesday starting at 3:30 p.m.
