In the background, top left, is one of two water tanks which act as heat sumps, storing warmth in the day and releasing it as the nights get cold. On a slushy, snowy April morning, Paul Renner stands surrounded by lush produce in a 51-foot diameter, 22-foot high geodesic dome greenhouse off the Swan Highway near Bigfork.
