Samuel Vance, 9, and his grandfather Woody Woodruff, both of Kalispell, work on Vance's pinewood derby car on Saturday afternoon in Kalispell. Woodruff laughs has he watches his grandson focus on painting details on the car. "A three dollar car ends up costing 30 dollars by the time your done with it," said Woodruff. The Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby will be held at the Kalispell Center mall on Saturday, March 20, beginning at 11 a.m.
