A Columbia Falls firefighter moves a piece of a debris out of the way as smoke rises from a collapsed carport in Columbia Falls Thursday afternoon. A house at 1206 Second Ave. W. exploded around 3:50 p.m., killing a Northwestern Energy employee working about 20 feet away from the building.
