This image shows the movements of a young female grizzly bear
after she was captured on the west side of Flathead Lake in June
2010. The bear was tracked by GPS coordinates from a satellite
collar she was fitted with. After spending some time on the west
shore, the bear swam long distances to eventually reach the east
shore of Flathead Lake. She now lives in the Swan Lake area.
