David Kraszewski of the Flathead Marines polishes the life and quarter Veterans Memorial sculpture in Depot Park on May 20 in Kalispell. The monument is polished, the grounds cleaned up and the bricks are strengthened and leveled in advance of Memorial Day. The United Veterans of the Flathead Valley Memorial Day ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. at Depot Park followed by the VFW Post 2252 luncheon in Kalispell.
