
Mechanical engineer Tom Heinecke worked on designing various systems for Rankin Elementary located on Airport Road in Kalispell. He follows generations of engineers, architects and carpenters in his family. His father, Bill, was also a mechanical engineer. His grandfather, Fred Brinkman, one of Kalispells notable architects, designed Hedges and Russell elementary schools and what is now known as the Linderman Education Center.
