Hotdoggers Luke Pitzo and Amanda Boyd pose in front of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile at Super 1 Foods in Kalispell, on August 9. Pitzo and Boyd make one of six Weinermobile teams that are moving around the country. They are both recent college graduates with degrees in marketing. Boyd, who has an interest in going into experiential marketing, said the first two months of their one year with the Wienermobile has already been a blessing and is teaching her a lot. When the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile rolled into the Kalispell Super 1 Foods parking lot Friday morning, Val Heisler could hardly contain her excitement. She had her phone at the ready halfway down the parking lot as she half-walked, half-jogged toward the iconic hot dog-shaped vehicle. The Wienermobile stopped at Super 1 stores in Kalispell and Evergreen on Friday and will visit grocers in Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls over the weekend, before heading to Spokane. The hot dog on wheels that visited the Flathead Valley is one of six vehicles traveling the country spreading joy, hot dog samples and puns wherever they go.
