Governor: California bought time to prepare for virus peak
LOS ANGELES (AP) — California's extraordinary efforts to keep people home have bought the time needed to prepare for an expected peak surge of coronavirus cases in coming weeks, Gov. Gavin Newsom said Tuesday.
