Flathead Valley’s first baby of 2023 arrived a little late on New Year’s Day. Dempsey Daye Michnal, third daughter of Sierra and Josh Michnal of Kila, was born at 4:16 p.m. on Jan. 1. Several other babies arrived late in the day on Dec. 31 allowing baby Michnal a fashionably late claim as first baby of the year for Logan Health. Michnal was 7 pounds, 11 ounces and 19.75 inches.
