WASHINGTON (AP) — The House prepared to vote as Rep. Jim Jordan tried for a third time Friday for the speaker's gavel, digging in for a fight despite deepening opposition from Republican colleagues who are warning the hard-edged ally of Donald Trump that no more threats or promises can win their support.
