Liam Ells scored 15 points including some big free throws down the stretch as the Glacier boys picked up the win 60-50 against crosstown rival Flathead Friday.
Whitefish Theatre cancels remainder of season
Whitefish Theatre Co. canceled the remained of its 2019-20 season on Friday, including productions of “Sense and Sensibility.” “Seminar,” “The Revolutionists” and a show by the Derina Harvey Band. The community theater’s fundraiser, Project Whitefish Kids Wine and Food Fest that was originally scheduled for May 6, has also been canceled.

A 20-year-old man died in a climbing accident Tuesday evening when he fell from a ridge known as the Dragon’s Tail in Glacier National Park.

A woman woke up Wednesday morning to find 20 horses roaming across her yard on the 400 block of Gordon Avenue near Columbia Falls. The owner of the horses was contacted by Flathead County sheriff's deputies. The horses were rounded up and corralled at nearby Outfitters Supply.
