Nominations open for inaugural '20 Under 40' in Flathead County

A month-long nomination period has opened up and will be followed by a review by a selection committee comprised of local business leaders. CHS Mountain West Co-op - Kalispell has filed, on or about December 13 2016, an application for a MAQP or a modification to an existing MAQP from the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. Applicant(s) seeks approval of its application for: Construction of a grain elevator and dry fertilizer plant. The facility will have truck receiving and rail and truck shipping for grain; it will have truck and rail receiving and truck shipping for dry fertilizer. The facility will have a grain dryer, associated structures, and unpaved driveway access. The proposed location is approximately one mile northeast of central Kalispell in an area that is being developed as an industrial park. The legal description of the site is: Section 8, Township 28N, Range 21W in Flathead County, Montana.
