Stumptown Art Studio: coloring in the calendar
Gallery Director Aida Hubbard puts some finishing details on the Stumptown Art Studio window display on Wednesday, March 25, in Whitefish. The display features the calendar with classes offered in April and May along with examples created by the various instructors. Classes include: glass fusing with Malanie Drown, introduction to bead making and torch fired enameling with Traci Staves, and precious metal clay with Malinda Goldhirsch. Officers arrest assault suspect
Columbia Falls police had to force open a door just after midnight and arrest a 25-year-old on suspicion of partner or family member assault and obstructing a peace officer. A woman made her way to the police station after a domestic assault at the home, but was concerned for a 2-year-old who still was in the house with the man who allegedly was intoxicated. He wouldn't open the door for the officers, so they forced their way in.
