Rudolph Timothy Ringhoff, 62

Rudolph Timothy Ringhoff, 62, of Polson, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009. Rudy was born on July 10, 1947, in Olympia, Wash., the son of Fred H. and Lydia Opal Ringhoff. He graduated from Columbia High School in Burbank, Wash., attended LeTourneau College in Longview, Texas, and graduated from Western Baptist Bible College. He then attended San Francisco Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated from Western Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary in Portland, with a Master of Divinity degree. Rudy helped to put himself through seminary by driving tanker trucks for both the Arco and Texaco oil companies. He married his high school sweetheart, Rita Soden, on Aug. 9, 1969, and together had two children, Tim and Jennifer. He counted it a privilege and a gift of the Lord to be able to serve Him in this beautiful valley and the dear people of First Baptist Church for almost 32 years. He loved all of you very much. Rudy was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Zoe. Survivors include his loving wife, Rita, of Polson; son, Tim, and Rachelle Ringhoff, of Gretna, Neb.; daughter, Jennifer, and Travis Stidham, of White Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Bryar, Ashton, Isabella, Trae and Marena; his mother, Lydia Opal Ringhoff, of Everett, Wash.; a sister, Mary, and Ted Reed, of Everett; and many other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at the First Baptist Church of Polson, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Rodney Myrum will officiate. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Polson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 40401 Montana 35, Polson, MT 59860. John Robin Darrow, 49

John Robin Darrow, 49, a resident of Cusick, Wash., lifted his sails on April 9, 2010, concluding his journey here on earth, after a brief battle with cancer. John was born Jan. 2, 1961, in Billings to George and Eileen Darrow. He was raised and educated in Billings. Then he went on to attend Flathead Valley Community College. John spent many of his summers in the Beartooth Mountains, hiking, fishing, camping and helping his family run a boat rental business at Kersey Lake. Here is where he developed his love of nature and appreciation of all creation. In 1984, John moved to the northeastern Washington area where he spent most of his working career as an electrician. In John s spare time, one would find him with family and friends, whether it was walking his dogs, hiking in the mountains, at his cabin or laughing and enjoying life to its fullest. John was a member of the American Legion Club, Post 217 in Cusick. John was a good friend and neighbor to all he knew. John was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen Riedl Darrow; and his stepmother, Elna Eshom Darrow. John is survived by the love of his life and soul mate of 11 years, Rose Murphy, and her three daughters and grandkids of Washington; his father, George Darrow, of Bigfork; his sister, Karen Darrow, of Whitefish; and brothers, Roy Darrow and wife, Jeanne, with their two daughters, of Powell, Wyo., and Reed Darrow and wife, Cathie, with their five children of Kalispell. Edmond Ed Dean Jaeger, 55, of Elmo, loving husband, father, grandfather, teacher and friend, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a six-year battle with cancer. Ed was born on July 21, 1955, in Oak Harbor, Wash., a son of the late Roland and Shirley Jaeger. Ed attended Polson High School and later went on to join the Army National Guard. In 1977, Ed married Leanor Roach in Richmond, Kan., and from this union three sons were born. He was a self-employed marine mechanic for over 20 years and for the past several years was an employee of Profection Powerboat and Chief Cliff Hot Rods. Ed enjoyed classic cars, hunting, camping, fishing, motorcycling, four-wheeling and horses, but above all, he was devoted to his family. Those left with cherished memories are his wife, Leanor; his three sons, Bo and Tara Jaeger, Mathew and Jessica Jaeger, and Thomas and Kyla Jaeger; his stepfather, Fred Samson; three sisters, Radine Shanks, Kathy Walker and Connie Tucker; seven brothers, Dan Jaeger, Rich Jaeger, Jim Jaeger, Allen Samson, Fred Samson, David Samson and Rob Samson; and four very dear grandchildren, Bethany, Haden, Gwendolyn and Kendyl. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Grogan Funeral Home, 101 Sixth Ave. E., Polson. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.
