LETTER: A vote for 'community involved' Don 'K'

Don “K” Kaltschmidt will get my vote next month. I have known Don for 10 years. He is a man of substance and integrity. He is a successful entrepreneur and is very involved in local community organizations (Rotary, Flathead Business and Industry Association, Whitefish Chamber of Commerce, American Legion). He also donates his time and talents to many worthy causes. “Community involved” truly describes Don K.

LETTER: Kaltschmidt for state Senate

Letters to the editor May 4

I am writing this letter in support of Bruce Tutvedt’s bid for House District 6 due to his integrity and support of public education. As a leader in our community, he understands the importance of a public education to provide opportunities for the next generation. In his distinguished two terms in the Montana State Senate he supported expanded K-12 funding, a tuition freeze for higher education, and increased funding for career and technical education. As a Kalispell Public Schools trustee, I keenly appreciate his support of distance learning which was beginning during his terms in the legislature, but are vital to our online presence now.

LETTER: Don 'K' is common-sense conservative

It’s rare that I send a letter to the editor to express my opinion. The elections are upon us, and if you are like me, the thought of picking our future leaders is not easy and is often confusing. One leader that I am not confused about is Don “K” Kaltschmidt. In my opinion, Don will bring common sense conservatism to Montana. He has spent his career working hard in the private sector to earn success and create jobs.
