Dwayne Odom, 46, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, to be with our Lord. He was born July 13, 1963, in Phoenix, to Bill and Juanita Odom. It was love at first sight for Dwayne when he met his wife, Rochelle, in 1999 in Phoenix. They moved to Charlo in August 2000 and were married on Sept. 26, 2004. They have two children, Toby and Paige. He loved all six of his kids and grandchildren with his whole heart. His last loving act was as an organ donor, giving life to others he didn t even know. He is survived by his wife, Rochelle; children, Kyle and Katrina, Heather and Travis, Misty K., Dwayne Jr., Toby and Paige; two grandchildren, Hannah and Braelyn; parents, Bill and Juanita Odom; sister, Wanda; and brothers, Richard and Darren. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Valley Bank to assist in the raising of his two minor children. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Cornerstone Faith Center, 516 N. Main, in St. Ignatius.

The Lord took our favorite angel John Encoe home on Dec. 16, 2009, to finally dance among the stars after 30 years of battling his life in a wheelchair. He was born Sept. 9, 1962. John was a beautiful man with an infectious smile, warm heart, and an outstretched hand; and positive words to anyone who knew him or met him. He was loved by his family, friends and co-workers, and will be deeply missed. John is survived by his mother, Diana K. Clarke, and husband, Robert, of Kalispell; father, William, and Joanne Wall, of St. George, Utah; daughter, Alexandria, and Devon Morkin, of Kalispell; grandsons, Aydan and Dawson, and his favorite cousin, Heather Fletcher, of Kalispell; brother, Troy Wall, and wife, Tonya, of St. George; sister, Scarlett, and husband, Rick Miller, of Gilbert, Ariz.; brother, Shane Encoe, and wife, Sherry, of Kalispell; and uncle, Donald Bouge, of Bountiful, Utah; among many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. Come help us celebrate his life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Whitefish Church of God, 5685 U.S. 93, S., Whitefish.

John F. Araujo Jr., 75, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. John was born on Aug. 22, 1932, in Paauilo, on the Big Island of Hawaii, to John and Cozy Gouveia Araujo Sr. He was raised in Hawaii, attending and graduating from Honoka'a High School. After high school, he attended Hilo Vocational School.

Yvonne Carter died peacefully on the morning of Nov. 15, 2010, in Kalispell, bringing to a close her courageous battle with ALS. Yvonne was born in Phoenix on Dec. 6, 1958, and was raised in Prescott, Ariz., where she graduated from Prescott High School in 1976. She received her Health Information Management Certificate from Arizona Institute of Business and Technology in Phoenix. She had been a certified tumor registrar since 1996 and served in that capacity at Kalispell Regional Medical Center since 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Grace Carter. She is survived by her sister, Edna Ford, of San Antonio, Texas; and a nephew, Brian Ford, and wife, Leslie, of San Diego; and two great-nieces, Katarina Ford of San Antonio, and Zoey Ford of San Diego. There will be a celebration of her life at 11 a.m., Dec. 4, at Grace Baptist Church. The church is located at 1385 Columbia Falls Stage Road.
