New Popeye's in Kalispell
Construction of the new Popeye's in Kalispell, on US 93 south of the courthouse, is underway on Tuesday morning, September 29. The walls of the building were delivered Monday night and according to owner Denny Rehberg the exterior of the building will be completed today. (Brenda Ahearn/Daily Inter Lake)
Road Work

Whitefish bond issue
Turner Askew, left, and John Muhlfeld work together Tuesday to put up a sign supporting the Whitefish High School bond request. The sign was installed near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Montana 40. Muhlfeld defeated Askew last year in the election for Whitefish mayor.
