 Someone who drove a luxury-brand import car with a kayak on top received a citation for stealing a single package of fishing hooks from a U.S. 2 East business. The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office helped the business owner track down the thief. Maybe he spent all his money on the car.

Kalispell police called a taxi for the man at Sawbuck's who had been refusing to leave, then passed out on the barroom floor. Before the hour was out, he was back in the spotlight when somebody spotted a stranger falling down in the hallway, either drunk or in trouble. Apparently he didn't live there. At last report, he was heading home again.

Bald man alarms women at Lone Pine

Flathead County Sheriff's Office was called to Lone Pine State Park Tuesday morning when a woman said a bald man in a sweat shirt made her uncomfortable by circling around behind her on the trail. Two other women told a deputy that the man had made them uneasy, also. He was found engaging in some solo martial arts moves and was arrested for drug possession. He was temporarily relieved of a giant sword he had with him.
