A Kalispell man accused of stabbing another man 12 times at a Columbia Falls party changed his plea to guilty last week.

Gerald R. Osler, 87, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008, at the Mountain View Nursing Home in Eureka, of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 25, 1920, on a ranch near Denton, the son of Laura and Earl Osler. The family purchased a ranch in 1936 in the Trego area, where they still reside.
