BASEBALL: Glacier Twins stay undefeated at Ed Gallo

WHITEFISH — It wasn’t easy for either side, but the Glacier Twins’ A and B teams both won for the fourth straight game at the Ed Gallo Memorial Wood Bat tournament on Saturday at Memorial Park, keeping alive the possibility of an all-Glacier championship game for the second straight year.

No. 24639 CALL FOR BIDS Notice is herby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, will receive bids for the purchase of Four (4) new, crew-cab, short box pickup trucks and Five (5) midsized sport utility vehicles (SUVs). All vehicles will be white in color. Bids must include the delivery cost to Kalispell, Montana. Specifications for the pickups and SUVs are available at the Flathead County Commissioners' Office, 800 South Main, Room 302, Kalispell, MT, and at the Flathead County Sheriff's Office, 920 South Main, Suite 100, Kalispell, MT. Each bidder much deposit with the bid, a bid security in the amount of $5,000 to secure the bidder's express covenant that if the bidder is awarded the contract, the bidder will, within ten (10) days, enter into a formal contract for the purchase and sale of said units. Bid security shall be payable to Flathead County and shall be in the form of lawful money of the United States: a cashier's check, certified check, bank money order, bank draft, or bid bond executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in Montana. The bidder shall include with his bid the form of contract to be signed. The terms of said contract, including maintenance and warranty provisions, will be considered in determining the bid which best serves the County's interests. The County reserves the right to negotiate terms of said contracts (excluding prices contained therein). All sealed bids, plainly marked "SEALED BID - SHERIFF'S PATROL VEHICLES" must be in the hands of the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, 800 South Main, Room 302, Kalispell, Montana 59901 on or before 8:45AM on July 13, 2017. Bids will be opened and read at 9:15AM that morning in the Commissioners' Chambers, located on the third floor of the old courthouse in Kalispell, Montana. The award of bid will be made solely by the issuance of a letter of award to the successful bidder by the Office of the Flathead County Board of Commissioners.
