Gladyce C. (Zimmerman) Molzhon, 76

Gladyce C. (Zimmerman) Molzhon, 76, passed away on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. She was born on Dec. 5, 1932, in Polson, to Lawrence and Virginia (Desch) Zimmerman. She graduated from Polson High School in 1950. Gladyce was married to Allan J. Molzhon on Dec. 20, 1952, in Missoula. She was a devoted wife, homemaker and mother of two. Gladyce enjoyed camping with her husband, Al, and visiting family and friends around the Flathead Valley and Montana. She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and socializing. Gladyce never forgot a birthday or special occasion. Her family was very important to her. She had a great sense of humor and was never at a loss for words. Gladyce was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Virginia Zimmerman. She is survived by her loving husband, Allan, of 57 years, son, Norman, and wife, Kim Molzhon, of Columbia Falls; and a daughter, Jeanne Sand, and husband, Ray, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister; Joyce Potts, and husband, Les, of Bigfork; two grandchildren, McKenzie Molzhon and Lee Molzhon; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Chapel in Kalispell, with Pastor Ron Pierce officiating. Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. today, Nov. 17, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. Interment will be a C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Jace Hill had 25 points and seven rebounds to lead the Wildcats over Browning 69-50 in the fifth-place game at the Western A Divisional Saturday. Columbia Falls next plays Havre, the fourth-place team out of Eastern A, for a berth into the State A tournament March 9-11 in Bozeman.
