Dancing the night away
Caitlin Hills of Kalispell dances with Peter Flahiff, a swing dance instructor from the Atomic Ballroom in Irvine, Calif., on Saturday, April 26 at the Downtown Dance Collective in Missoula. Gangsta Perch 6 - Wally World
Gangsta Perch 6... Wally World! So today was an amazing day for a few amateurs like us. Pat caught a 20 inch Walleye before I could even get the fish cam recording! I pulled in 26" Pike after trying three different jigs and having him come in no less then a half dozen times. Pat and I pulled in a dozen perch or so. What a great time!

Nine lives and counting
Kevin Moore was happy to pose with his two beloved pets again this year for his annual Christmas photo card. His 20-year-old lynx Misha survived cancer, and his dog Tucker helped rescue Moore from a Sunday morning rollover that injured both Moore and his dog. “I have the two best pets in the world,” he said Monday after being released from the hospital.

Young boy, old fish
This photo released by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks on Wednesday shows Garrett Frost from Kalispell holding a largemouth bass he caught in Rose Creek Slough on July 16, 2011. According to biologist Mark Deleray, Frost may have caught the oldest largemouth bass reported in Montana. The fish was 20 to 22 inches long and weighed about 3.5 pounds and was later released back to the creek.
