Responding to a report

of a fight late Tuesday, Kalispell police arrested three people on the 400 block of Sixth Avenue West: two men, both 20, on suspicion of being in possession of alcohol and a girl, 17, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Mack Days 2015

Mike Benson of Lonepine, fishing in rough weather conditions near Yellow Bay on Thursday, May 7, on Flathead Lake. Benson has won top honors in three of the Mack Days Tournaments and been in the top five in 15 of them. Mack Days is a biannual fishing tournament that takes place weekends in the spring and fall. The current tournament began on March 20, and will wrap up at 3 p.m. on May 17. This video was shot while on a ride along with Jason Mahlen of Kalispell. Mahlen is currently in first place in the tournament.

Lamb, Frissell claim divisional x-country titles

Joe Lamb of Columbia Falls and Beatrix Frissell of Polson were individual winners while the Columbia Falls boys and Whitefish girls captured the team titles on Saturday for the Western A Divisional cross country meet at Rebecca Farm.

Sentinel rallies, survives Wolfpack

MISSOULA - The Glacier girls went in to Missoula on Tuesday night and nearly came away with an upset of No. 2 Missoula Sentinel, losing the game 47-42. The Wolfpack had won six of its last seven games since its first meeting with the Spartans this season, and led 11-7 after the first quarter. But, a poor second quarter doomed the rest of the night. The Wolfpack was outscored 18-9 in the second and trailed by five points at half, a lead it couldn't erase after halftime.
