The reason for the request is that the applicant would like the top of the roof structure to be 42'-8" in height where the maximum height without a PUD is 35-feet. The proposed development otherwise conforms to all of the zoning requirements. The property is described as Lots 1-15, Block 37, Columbia Falls Townsite in Section 8, Township 30 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., Flathead County. Persons are allowed to attend the hearing, subject to the most recent public gathering restrictions enacted by County and State agencies at or prior to the time of the hearing and are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the meeting. Written comments carry the same weight as public testimony given during the hearing. This Week in the Flathead: Bibler Gardens

The flowers at Bibler Gardens are nearing their peak bloom on Tuesday, May 13, west of Kalispell. This is the final weekend of the Spring Stroll at Bibler Home and Gardens. Tickets for the tours are still available for Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be obtained by calling 756-3632. Tickets are $10 for adults, except for the Sunday at 3 tour which is $20 and includes a tour of the Persian antique tribal rug collection.
