A proposal by the city of Whitefish to partner with Flathead County on a corridor study of U.S. 93 south of Whitefish has been declined by the county commissioners.

A reportedly intoxicated Spring Creek Drive man allegedly kept calling Montana Highway Patrol dispatchers and harassing them. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies visited the man's home to tell him to stop, but he refused to answer the door. The calls stopped.

A plane with malfunctioning nose gear landed safely Tuesday night at Glacier Park International Airport. Although rescue workers and firefighters were dispatched to the runway in case of a crash, the plane landed without incident. No one was injured.
