John 'Jack' L. Mulford, 93

John “Jack” L. Mulford moved on to his permanent residence with his Lord on Oct. 2, 2018, at age 93 surrounded by family and friends. Jack was born to James D. and Nellie M. Mulford on May 22, 1925, in Independence, Missouri.

Logan John Eugene Guse, 16

On the morning of Oct. 7, 2017, at approximately 4 a.m. near Nelson, Montana, Logan’s young life was taken too soon, at the age of 16, as a result of a car accident. Logan was a sophomore at Capital High School. He, along with two of his best buddies were on their way to do what he loved most, hunting.

Barbara L. Thomas, 92

Barbara L. Thomas, 92, passed away on July 27, 2019, in Kalispell. Barbara was born in 1927 high in the Cascade Mountains, where her father was a forest ranger, beginning her life deeply connected to the Earth. Her family were non-tribal Eastern Cherokee, having escaped the Trail of Tears to settle in Southern Illinois. The recipient of a generous Langham Scholarship, Barbara was the first in her family to attend college. She met Ralph I. Thomas at the University of Puget Sound, married and embraced by his family, they were together for 51 years until his death in 2000.

On May 2, 2007, surrounded by her family, and with three of her children holding and comforting her and "one child reaching out to greet her," Katherine L. "Peggy" Redpath "left this world to go to a better one with no pain."
