Drive-thru debacle leads to DUI
A driver called the Kalispell Police Department from the drive-thru line at an East Idaho Street restaurant. Apparently, the man in front of her in line kept passing out, holding up the line. She said she went to his vehicle’s window to wake him and keep him moving, and could smell alcohol on him. Officers ended up arresting the man on suspicion of DUI.

Cold snap raises concerns for community
Someone requested a welfare check from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office for a woman south of a U.S. 93 intersection in Kalispell who was reportedly begging for a ride. The person thought the woman was acting strange when she supposedly was whipping around and throwing her arms up toward cars. Officers were unable to locate the flailing woman.
