Su Song Smith, 65, of Columbia Falls, suddenly was taken away from all who loved her on the morning of Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Su Song was born May 5, 1942, in a small village in South Korea. In 1971, she came to the Flathead Valley, residing most of her time in Columbia Falls.

Milo "Dale" Gorton, 92, a lifetime Kalispell resident, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at the Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell. He was born Jan. 25, 1914, in Kalispell to Richard "Dick" and Hazle M. (Halstead) Gorton.

Gladys Blanche Gray, 90

Gladys Blanche Gray, 90, died Sept. 12, 2010, at her home in Kalispell. Gladys was born June 7, 1920, in Somers, to Henry and Violet Wittlake. She enjoyed her grandchildren and being able to work with horses. Since 1951 she has been one of Jehovah s Witnesses and was active in the Christian ministry. She enjoyed sharing her Bible hope with others. Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard Dick Gray; her parents, Henry and Violet Wittlake; four siblings, Ward, Jean, Emery and Shirley; and her daughter, Beaneita Brusell. Survivors include her daughter, Irene Dahl; sisters, Dode Altenburg and Kathleen Sutton; four grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah s Witnesses, located at 1414 Woodland Ave., in Kalispell. A get-together at the Smith Valley Grange Hall will follow.

Doris Evelyn Richards, 91, passed away Dec. 25, 2006, in Pocatello, Idaho.

Jada Lee Utter, infant

Mark and Marla Utter announced the birth of their special angel, Jada Lee, on March 21, 2010. She stayed with us long enough to touch our hearts before she went to be with our Heavenly Father on March 25, 2010, at Children s Hospital in Seattle. During her precious time with us, she inspired many. Her will to fight was exceptional. During her stay at Children s Hospital in Seattle, her journey touched many people. She was supported in life by the many doctors, nurses and hospital staff, who provided her with tenderness and compassion. Her family and friends surrounded her with love during her time with us. She will be remembered by the many friends and family she has left behind, especially her parents Mark and Marla Utter, and two sisters, Natalia (21) and Andi (11). Services to celebrate her life will be at 1 p.m. April 2, at the First Church of God in Eureka. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Eureka.

Remains found in 2003 positively ID'd through DNA

The remains of a man found in Marion in 2003 have been identified more than 25 years after he first went missing.
