Lakeside QRU holds annual fundraiser dinner
The Lakeside Ambulance/QRU (Quick Response Unit) is having its seventh annual Ham Dinner fundraiser from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at the QRU Community Hall in Lakeside, 201 Bills Road. The Lakeside QRU is a nonprofit organization with an executive director, 20 emergency responders, two modern, fully-equipped ambulances and an aid car. The QRU volunteers have been responding to the emergency medical needs of the community for 38 years.
