Olga Price, 95, formerly of Kalispell, passed away on Jan. 24, 2010, at a nursing home in Burien, Wash. She was born Feb. 10, 1914, in Leroy, Saskatchewan, to Ole and Thea Borgen. In 1915 her family moved and settled in Silva, N.D. The family then moved to Kalispell in 1928. Olga married Ralph Cap Price in 1937. They moved to the Seattle area in 1943, living most of their time in the Burien area. Olga was an awesome cook for the Highline School District for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; father and mother; four brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Roger Price of Seattle, and Norm Price and Judy of Selah, Wash.; one daughter, Sunny Hess, and Gary, of Brush Prairie, Wash.; six grandsons and eight great-grandchildren; also one sister, Mickie McPoland, of Seattle; and one sister-in-law, Florence Borgen, of Kalispell. Graveside services for Olga Price will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell. Memorial services will also be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at Glendale Lutheran Church in Seattle. The family suggests donations be made in Olga s name to the charity of your choosing. Donald O. Gustafson, 77

Donald O. Gustafson, 77, died Friday, March 19, 2010, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was born to William and Alice Gustafson in Milnor, N.D., on Oct. 15, 1932, and later came to Shelby with his family where he had attended school, graduating from Shelby High School. While in high school, he had been very active in sports. He later served in the United States Air Force, where he was honorably discharged at the rank of staff sergeant. Don had been a longtime resident of Whitefish where he had been an entrepreneur who owned and operated several businesses, including Riverside Grocery, Snak Time and Northwest Ice. Don was an Eagle Scout and later a high school basketball referee. He was a past-president and prime minister of the Whitefish Winter Carnival. A man who was proud of his family, he loved to joke and will be missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Zoe; his children, Eric of Whitefish, Tim of Reno, Nev.; and Lori of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary; and by his parents. Services will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor s choice. Arrangements are under the care of Austin Funeral Home.

Randall H. Randy Wallette, 55, of Kalispell, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 25, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 19, 1955, in Poplar, to James and Inga Wallette. He grew up in Kalispell, attended Evergreen School, and graduated from Flathead High School in 1974. He entered the Navy in 1975, and served four years. On Nov. 6, 1984, he married Debra Marie Schulze, and they just celebrated their 25th anniversary. Randy worked at Plum Creek and LHC. Randy loved all outdoor activities with his family and friends, fishing, camping, snowcatting, riding ATVs and his Harley to the very end. He enjoyed working with special needs children. He is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Gary, Adam and Rachel, and Tonya Wallette; mother, Inga Wallette; grandchildren, Emily Bauchman and Evan Wallette; siblings, Karla and Dan Colyar, Rod Wallette, Roland and Gina Wallette; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, James Wallette; and sister, Kristi Wallette. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, at the Christian Center.
