New Media Materials at Whitefish Library

Whitefish Library Director Joey Kositzky adds music cd's audiobooks and dvds to the new Media section at the Whitefish Library on Thursday morning, February 18. More than 250 new items have arrived at the library purchased with money from the $4500 Whitefish Community Foundation grant. The grant was specifically for new media. The library staff determined what needed to be replaced and then focused on purchasing new material for different age groups. Approximately 50 more items are expected to be delivered, but the first items are available online for sharing with other libraries in the area and were available to browsers before the end of the day on Thursday. "We are so grateful to the Whitefish Community Foundation," said Kositzky. "And to anyone who donates their money, materials or time. Volunteers are what keeps us going."
