John Leonard Pfefferkorn, 57

John Leonard Pfefferkorn, 57, of Proctor, husband of Debbie Pfefferkorn, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson of a heart attack. John was born on May 7, 1952, in Charles City, Iowa, the son of (the late) Leonard and Doris Westergard Pfefferkorn. John graduated from Charles City High School and attended Wartburg and Central colleges, both in Iowa. On May 16, 1998, he married Deborah Hughes. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos. He is survived by his mother, Doris Pfefferkorn; his loving wife, Debbie, of Proctor; his sister, Linda Bartlett, of Kalispell; two stepdaughters; and two stepgrandchildren. Cremation has taken place, and there are no services planned at this time. Messages of condolence may be expressed to the family by sending them to Deborah Pfefferkorn, P.O.
