'Peter and the Wolf'
The Glacier Symphony will bring the symphonic fairytale “Peter and the Wolf” to concert halls in Whitefish and Kalispell on Dec. 9 and 10 with a holiday pops concert for the whole family. LeRoy Auldin Carlson, 43
LeRoy Auldin Carlson, 43, of Lakeside, passed away Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, in Dayton as a result of a tragic car accident. LeRoy was born Dec. 30, 1966, in Libby, a son of Larry Carlson and Alma Schatzi Peek Wood. His father, Larry Carlson, and grandparents, Elfrieda and Auldin Peek, preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Alma Wood; stepfather, James Wood; grandmother, Marylou Wood; two sisters, Elfrieda Benson and April Wood; a brother, Donnie Carlson; a stepsister, Tonya Lyftogt; and a stepbrother, Greg Wood. LeRoy is also survived by two biological children, Shane BJ Carlson and Maranda Luckhart Derr; an adopted son, Josh Petry; four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who are considered family. LeRoy touched the lives of everyone he met. A private memorial service will be held at the home of his parents. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family online at www.groganfuneralhome.com. Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson, is assisting the family.
