William R. "Bill" Hodge was born May 25, 1919, in Alfalfa, Okla., to Benjamin Harrison Hodge and Opal Phippany Hodge. He died almost one month after his 95th birthday on June 23, 2014, at North Valley Hospital following an accidental fall in his home. His family takes great comfort in knowing that Bill is now with his heavenly Father.

A fire engine and a pickup truck collided on the highway in southwestern Montana, causing an explosion and fire that killed six people, including a fire chief and three Helena children. There were no survivors. A Three Forks fire engine heading east on U.S. 12 collided with a westbound pickup Thursday night, about 10 miles east of Helena, forcing both vehicles into the ditch, Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy Bob Gleich said.

She worked at Highland Park School, later at Mountain Bell until her marriage to Glen Knox on September 2, 1955 in Lewistown. She continued at Mountain Bell until they started their family when she devoted her time to their children. In 1970 she went to work at the First National Bank working in the bookkeeping department until her retirement in 1999.
