Missing man left train too soon
A man called the Whitefish Police Department after his son failed to get off the train at the Whitefish station. The man said he couldn’t reach his son, and didn’t know why the plans had changed. Officers were eventually able to confirm that the son had gotten off accidentally in Spokane, and was safe.
Vandals in Whitefish deploy toilet paper
A Peregrine Lane resident told the Whitefish Police Department that their house had been vandalized overnight. It was reportedly toilet-papered and items in the yard had been damaged and broken.

Fashion emergency on soccer field
A woman holding soccer practice at a field on Wolfpack Way reported being approached by a group of about five men all stripped down to their underwear. The woman said the men arrived in two vehicles, one with a shattered windshield, and asked if they could join her. When she did not respond they allegedly flipped her off. The woman left the field and called the police. Kalispell Police officers arrived and removed the men from the property.
