A fireball, accompanied by blinking lights, was reported in the Hash Mountain area. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies looked into the matter and discovered the object was an airplane, but it had never crashed.

A woman cross-country skier was lost for about three hours Saturday evening in the Farm-To-Market Road area before the Flathead County Sheriff's Office and the Flathead Valley Search and Rescue Team found her.

Big boulder crashes near traffic lane
A large boulder “the size of a small vehicle” fell and came to rest straddling the fog line in the northbound lane of U.S. 93 South. A passing volunteer firefighter stopped to direct traffic around the hazard. Fallen rocks also were also reported in the middle of the road 10 miles north of the Lake County line.

Sunday afternoon, a caller reported seeing a tall guy yelling at a smaller guy on Hutton Ranch Road. The two men were panhandlers arguing over who was going to hold a sign. They were advised of city ordinances by the
