A 21-year-old man ran his car into the wall of a bar on Meridian Road hard enough to push it in and knock over a number of keno machines inside. The man wasn't actually in the car at the time, which was lucky for him because Kalispell police most likely would have arrested him on suspicion of DUI. He was under the hood, trying to get the car to start. He was successful, but the car was in gear and backed into the wall.

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a disturbance between two neighbors on Spring Hill Road. The disagreement began when one neighbor's dog started chasing the other neighbor's horses. When the horse owner went into the house to get her rifle, the dog then got into the chicken coop. The dog reappeared with an almost featherless chicken in its mouth and got shot. The dog's owner was upset.

To play it safe, the man who purchased the gun called deputies and asked them to check the serial number. It came back as stolen, and the man was forced to turn it over to the authorities. He is only 20 years old, and thus not a suspect in the theft, investigators said.
