Responding deputies determined little damage had been done. Three hours later the man called back, saying he was receiving threatening phone calls from the same woman.

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office arrested a 43-year-old woman on suspicion of stabbing a 38-year-old man in the abdomen with a kitchen knife during a domestic fight early Sunday morning on Montana 40 near Columbia Falls. The man was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a 6-inch-long cut. The fight was apparently about one person waking up the other.

The man reportedly lied to Flathead County sheriff's deputies about who he was to avoid being identified as a fugitive, so he also was ticketed on suspicion of obstructing justice.

She was a longtime resident of Monroe County, Pa., until moving to Montana in 1996.

died July 2, 2008, in Albuquerque, N.M. He was born Nov. 20, 1932, in Whitefish. Tim grew up in Eureka, and attended both grade school and high school in Eureka. As a child and young man he spent many happy summers at the Shea ranch, north of Eureka, with his grandparents George and Mabel Shea.

She was born in a log cabin near Faunce in northern Minnesota on May 3, 1922, to V.E. and Anna Crabtree. The family later moved to Baudette, Minn., where she went to school. She graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., in 1943 and was married that summer to Marine Lt. George Sorben of Williston., N.D., who was killed in the invasion of Saipan.
