The Flathead County Sheriff's Office arrested a 43-year-old woman on suspicion of stabbing a 38-year-old man in the abdomen with a kitchen knife during a domestic fight early Sunday morning on Montana 40 near Columbia Falls. The man was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a 6-inch-long cut. The fight was apparently about one person waking up the other.

She was born in a log cabin near Faunce in northern Minnesota on May 3, 1922, to V.E. and Anna Crabtree. The family later moved to Baudette, Minn., where she went to school.
