The Flathead County Sheriff's Office started investigating a report of a drunken woman driving on U.S. 93 and ended up arresting and using a Taser jolt to shock a man. A deputy checked on a woman reported as drunk on U.S. 93 and found her to be fine. The officer went to Scotty's Bar to follow up on the incident. There, he found a couple arguing. The man reportedly was angry that his pregnant girlfriend was drinking. The deputy said he would take the couple home, but he first disposed of a marijuana pipe reportedly found in one of their cars by breaking it and flinging it across the road. The enraged man reportedly thought the officer had flung his keys and attacked him. He was subdued with a Taser gun and was charged with assault on an officer and obstructing an officer.

Badrock Fire Department, highway patrol and Columbia Falls ambulance went to a crash on Montana 206 that injured two people. Jaws of Life were needed for extrication at a rollover accident near the South Fork Bar on Wednesday; ALERT helicopter, Canyon Quick Response Unit, Martin City Fire Department, highway patrol and Columbia Falls ambulance were notified. Kalispell and Smith Valley fire departments went to a motorcycle accident on Foy's Lake Road. ALERT helicopter, Bigfork Fire & Medical, Lakeside Quick Response Unit and Somers Fire Department went to a rollover on Montana 82. An injured man took himself to the hospital.

Flathead County Sheriff's Office dispatched rescuers to accidents overnight that involved drivers hitting a fence, a house, a telephone pole, and one another. At about 1:30 a.m., a van went through a fence on Lone Pine Road; the driver was stopped in Kalispell and was arrested. Minutes later, a woman who lost control around a corner on State Park Road ran into the side of a house. Whitefish ambulance and fire department responded. There was damage to the car and the house, but no one was hurt. The woman was arrested for DUI. Before dawn, another accident was reported near Majestic Valley Arena on U.S. 93, where a woman was arrested. A man was arrested for DUI after hitting a telephone pole and stretching it across the road on Conrad Drive.

The man returned home to find someone had been drinking his beer and eating his food. The house appeared to have been gone through and the resident's firearms had been laid out. What worked for Goldilocks didn't succeed for the interloper; he was charged with burglary.
