Columbia Falls

Columbia Falls police suddenly took over from City Court officials Monday morning when a man appearing there on traffic offenses suddenly bolted out of the courtroom. Police chased him on foot, then - when he hopped into his vehicle - by car. They caught up to him at Sixth Street and Third Avenue West. He now faces a negligent endangerment charge, considerably more serious than his traffic counts.
